Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology
The Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT) is a Center of Studies of the Order of Preachers, offering masters-level degrees in philosophy and theology as well as a degree completion program for the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. We seek to form a community of scholars, modeling our approach on the teacher-student relationship between St. Albert the Great and St. Thomas Aquinas, who sought to understand God and the world through the study of nature and the classical Greek, Jewish and Islamic philosophical traditions of their day, integrating their study into their understanding of the Christian Gospel. Following their example, we strive to engage contemporary ideas and culture in mutual transformation.
